activities in the State of Selangor. The following suggestions are the top 5
agro tourism destinations in Selangor you may want to visit post CMCO:
1) MAEPS
Agro Tourism Park
Maeps Agro Tourism Park is an ideal agro park
where you can spend time with your family surrounded by the beauty of nature.
MAEPS park provides many activities for those who want to experience the
plantation and agriculture areas. One of the attractions is the “House of Kambing” which is home to goats and
camels, and you may also enjoy a set of “Nasi
Kukus Kambing Bakar” meal. Other than that, there are also
agricultural sites where you can learn about herbs, paddy, pineapple and
fishes, as well as a G2G Animal Garden where you can feed the animals and many
more. You can also spend the night at Nafas Cube with their unique cabin and
tube concept.

THE NATIONAL BOTANICAL GARDEN, SHAH ALAM
The National Botanical Garden is an agro
tourism park designed for leisure purposes as well as for research. National
Botanical Garden features green, serene and refreshing environment. This park
has their special attraction for visitors which is the famous four-season house
where you can experience all 4 types of seasons; winter, spring, autumn and
summer. However, the four season house will only re-open to public in early
2021. Furthermore, there are also cactus, orchid and spice gardens as well as
animal park, fruit gardens, among others.
Entrance fee: RM3 (12-54 y/o), RM1 (6-11 y/o),
RM1 (55 y/o and above), free for OKU
Operation hour: Tuesday to Sunday (7.30am to
4.30pm)

SELANGOR FRUIT VALLEY, KUALA SELANGOR
If you are planning to have a trip to a fruit
garden, Selangor Fruit Valley is a perfect place for you because this place has
many types of local fruit farms and you can also enjoy free fruits. Not only
that, there are other attractions and available activities such as mini petting
zoo, kayaking, deer farm, traditional houses, kelulut honey farm and many more. Furthermore, there are also a
variety of plants such as starfruit, guava, papaya, rambutan and so on. Other than that, there is also a tram service
where you can take a stroll around the park while enjoying fresh air. There is also
a coconut stall where you can take a rest and quench your thirst with fresh coconut
water.

FOREST RESEARCH INSTITUTE MALAYSIA, KEPONG (FRIM)
Forest Research Institute
Malaysia (FRIM), Kepong occupies an area of 600 hectares, and surrounded by
the Lagong Hill Forest Reserve. One of its latest attractions is the Sky
Walk. Among the activities that can be
carried out here are having a picnic with your family, jogging on the Rover
Track, walking under the canopy, camping, hiking, cycling and studying the
beauty of nature. Furthermore, there are also plants and trees such as
Rubiaceae (coffee family), Fabaceace (bean family), Euphorbiaceae (rubber
family), 116 years old Keladan tree, Melaka tree and many more. An additional
RM5 will be charged if you bring a camera to take pictures. One interesting
fact - FRIM, Kepong was initially a mining site before turning into a vegetable
garden site and now is a forest destination area with a cozy and quiet
atmosphere.

KUAN WELLNESS ECO PARK, KUALA LANGAT
Kuan Wellness Eco Park is one of the
interesting destinations that you can visit in Selangor. Visitors will enjoy
the refreshing environment of the gardens with natural ecological health
tourism theme which also offers several exciting activities. Among the
attractions at this park is the mini zoo where visitors can feed the friendly
animals such as rabbits, ducks and birds. Other than that, visitors can also
visit the tropical fruit farms, watch the process of bird’s nest production
which will later be used as health products and enjoy beautiful landscape for
pictures.

for mini zoo
